I put Warlock on my watchlist and am wondering if I should put Distant Drums on as well. Good performance, mediocre film? But it's Gary Cooper! What do you recommend Knocked Out Loaded?

Maybe I should watch The Outlaw Josey Wales if I finish my other two movies I'm watching for ses' month.

Fun time though, I think I liked Warlock the best from what I saw.
Warlock is real good and interesting to think about. It compares well with The Furies in terms of tone.

Warlock is a good one for you, but I wouldn't recommend Distant Drums. If you're looking for great Gary Cooper - broken record alert - The Westerner. You might also enjoy Along Came Jones, which puts Cooper against Dan Duryea.

Distant Drums was a strange horse in the stable. You won't set any records with it, but I think you'll enjoy the ride anyway.

The Westerner added! And what the heck, I added Distant Drums and Along Came Jones too. Maybe after the run of Stewart movies for this year's marathon, I'll spend next March with Cooper. :) Maybe sooner.

I didn't see any this year liked I'd hoped, but I have a rich list of titles to draw on for next year at least. :)

There was beastly output in this marathon this month though, which was cool.

102, with only 38% coming from me.

Still, you had three times the amount of anyone else.

I changed my mind. Broken Arrow is the best Western I saw this month (a day late though). After I recover, I may find some words for a review.

Waiting for the words. Considering re-watching Broken Arrow.

Is that really so different from any other monthly marathon?
