Junior, I wondered if you'd include the longer cut of F&A, which was a TV Miniseries. (As is No Direction Home.) I decided not to do that with mine which eliminated Scenes From a Marriage, John Adams and Martin Scorsese's 2 Journey Through Cinema films.

Sam, when it comes to extended editions, I prefer The Two Towers. You could argue making all of Lord of the Rings an entry, much like I did with The Human Condition, though each of those films is also over 3 hours.

Quick look through my most recent top 100 suggests these:

1. Seven Samurai
2. Lawrence of Arabia
3. A Brighter Summer Day
4. Eureka
5. Magnolia

I could definitely go along with putting Fellowship of the Ring / The Human Condition in there as well, but I have always included those as one overall series entry, so I'm not sure exactly how I would break that down.

2. Amadeus (I haven't seen the director's cut, but know without a shadow of a doubt I'll love it.)

But that version isn't nearly as good as the 161 minute theatrical cut, don't you agree?
