This is my garden. I really don't live in the past, but someone turned on the filter, on the phone.
minus the jungle gym. It's been a bit of a slow process. There's a drip system that reaches this back area, but it wasn't working. Whether it didn't have enough water pressure to get out that far or a leak somewhere along the line, I'm not sure, but I finally decided to adjust the automatic sprinklers to hit these spots, so I didn't have to worry about watering. Oh, I should say that the theme of my garden is, "Easy." I don't want to work harder than I have too.
I also didn't have enough dirt along the fence, so I put up the cinderblocks, to keep the new dirt in. The weeds are cleared and I've bought most of the seeds, now what? I've always just dabbled in gardening, putting in tomato plants, squash and a few other things, and hoping everything would grow. I need to concentrate on fertilizer, right?
I have a long strip of ground for the vines, but still, this will only be a sampling garden. These are the items I'm going to grow:
Beans (What kind of structure do you use to help them climb?)
Cantalope
Carrots
Cucumbers
Eggplant
Honeydew
Onions
Peppers
Potatoes
Squash
Tomatoes (I've tried cages, but would like to use a post, maybe? What works for you?)
