Will be working in the garden tomorrow, hoping to get all the manure in the beds. It's such hard work, but so rewarding...gardening is good for one's state of mind...shovelling is good for the abs! Jeez!

Will post some photo's :)

Garden, definitely...no-one needs to see me!!! Yikes...jeez no!!!

...Erm OK, maybe later in the year, when their more defined...the abs, not the garden.

Abs are built in the kitchen, not the gym

:))

Monty, I like your attitude. I'm willing to put in the work if it is "good for one's state of mind." :)

What are you planting this year?

Erm, lots of fruits. Blackcurrants, Strawberries, Raspberries, Gooseberries, Damsons etc. Tomatoes, Runner Beans, Potatoes, Courgettes, Onions. Also Cucumbers etc if we can get a standing area done.

I'm guessing I'll be spending this Saturday morning on the outskirts of Sheffield, shovelling manure into a trailer? nice view though. Will post pics later...of the view, not me shovelling!

 :D

Have your dad take the picture.

Berries! For your jams.  I wonder how Courgettes and Zucchini can be the same plant. The words don't have anything in common. Strange, but fun. I guess I should be on the lookout for some manure...

I had a good afternoon's work in the garden, digging out the planters, putting in the manure and covering with soil. I've put the new photo (right) against the previous photo (left), so you can compare how the levels have rose due to the manure.

It's thirsty work this gardening, time for a cool refreshing drink or three ::)

Hopefully we'll be doing some planting in the next day or so :)

That's a fine job you've done there, Monty. Your garden is shaping up. :)

Nice view of the mountains, Sandy!  I used to have a big garden back when I lived in Cincinnati.  Not sure what I'm going to do now that I live in the mountains where it is much cooler and we don't get a lot of sunshine due to the tall pines.
