It's been a real struggle this year, due to the weather, but the garden is thriving.
We have planted potatoes, onions, cabbages, runner/broad beans, beetroot, carrots and courgettes.
Leeks will be planted next week. In the greenhouse we have tomatoes and cucumbers.

Also blackcurrants, redcurrants, gooseberries, raspberries and blueberries. No strawberries this year though.

I agree!

Monty, are those cabbage plants under the lattice, and is the lattice there to soften the sunlight?

I simplified way down this year. The area I had been wrestling with and growing more weeds than crops, I'm leaving unused.

Down to three smallish garden boxes.

It's hard to see on the photo, but the lattice top is to support the netting which covers the cabbages. The cabbages are netted to stop them being eaten by butterflies. It's stopped them being eaten so far, so the butterflies have moved on to the broad/runner beans instead ;D

Sandy, I said it before, but that's a really nice view you have from your garden, it's known as borrowed gardening :)

I had no idea until the fruits started falling that they place I am renting has a mangosteen tree in the front yard. So now I can say I have a garden and not just a lot of weeds and uncut grass:

They really are delicious fruit, a better look of what they are:

Interesting and it looks like they stick to the ceiling in the first shot.

Nobody ever praised my photo skills.  Now the fruits have gone from great to have to a pain in the ass. They attract so many bugs after they fall and cause a mess. As I am traveling so much at the moment, I am not really around to rake them up and clean the yard often so it is not so nice. I keep saying I will do the yard work when I get home but then it seems the last thing I want to do. I do manage to get laundry done or else I would have a problem.

I love watching all your gardens.  Because I am unable to grow one this year, I have to rely on your pics.  Borrowed gardening, indeed!  More pictures!
