I've seen all of Firefly and only a few episodes of Buffy. For what I know, I agree with these top two.

1. Serenity
2. The Avengers

I did vote for "Something from Buffy", but changed it to The Avengers. Mostly on the basis that I would vote for a film, not a TV series.

I voted Serenity, although "Something from Firefly" and "Avengers" are close seconds.

I just finished season 6 of Buffy.  Dang, the musical was top notch.  And the episode where Buffy got shot and Tara died.  Then Buffy and Willow and Giles have a full out fight.   Now the quality of the show, especially writing, has continued through the first few episodes of the seventh season.  I am stunned.

BTW, old TV series are best when you are sick and you should be in bed anyway.
