I remember during the musicals marathon, there was some talk about a neo-musicals marathon. When you actually get to that point (which I'm sure will be a ways down the road) I've got to recommend the musical version of Reefer Madness. It's way, way too good, and I don't know anyone who's seen it that doesn't absolutely love it. Well worth your time.

How in the world did you find a musical reefer-madness? How did I miss it?

Strikeouts are boring - besides that, they're fascist. Throw some ground balls. More democratic.

It was produced by Showtime around 2002 or so. Alan Cumming, Kristen Bell, Christian Campbell, Ana Gasteyer, Steven Weber, amongst others. It was originally written for the stage, and it's fantastic. You can find it at your local Blockbuster (ugh.)

It's fabulous. I saw it semi-recently, as I'm a fan of Kristin Bell's from
Veronica Mars
, and loved it.
