Times Square
St. Louis Blues
Intimate Lighting
La cicatrice intérieure (not sure how music-related this is)

Junior, I thought you might be interested in the other works of Whiplash's Damien Chazelle? (Guy and Madeline on a Park Bench, Grand Piano, which he only wrote but it's a Horror film.) Perhaps you're waiting for my reviews first.

Martin, I thought I'd at least heard of some of those titles but they're all new to me. Intimate Lighting is from the director of Cutter's Way, so that's the one I'm most interested in.

Knocked Out Loaded, welcome to the show.

Beavermoose, the Filmspotting debate will be do you prefer Meet Me in St Louis or Phantom of the Paradise

Bondo, happiest to see Band Baaja Baaraat but most interested in your opinion of Girltrash

Sandy, I thought I was going to have to remind you, but I don't. The main song in Here Comes the Groom is an infectious earworm so be ready.

La cicatrice intérieure (not sure how music-related this is)

Only music relation is that it's entirely scored to Nico's Desertshore? The cover is even from the film.

Also: Times Square! From the director of Empire Records!

Looking forward to this!  I already saw Into the Woods, so I'll post a review of that.  Also, I expect to see these films:

Phantom of the Opera
Jack and the Cockoo Clock Heart
First a Girl
Love Labor's Lost
The Rooftop
Sailing Along

And who knows what else?

Ideathy will be watching some musicals with me.  She'll write her own reviews.

I keep coming up with ideas.

Fantasia 2000
Song of the South
Cry-Baby
Purple Rain
The Muppet Movie
Mary Poppins
Top Hat
The Jungle Book
24 Hour Party People
42nd Street

Thoughts on Song of the Sea? Is the titular song important enough to count? Is it like a Disney movie at all?

The new doc called Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck is supposed to be really good, and it's releasing on HBO on the fourth of May, so probably that.
