Thanks Brother,  I will introduce myself and I'll probably prove to be clinically insane.

p.s. I love Emma Stone, I don't know if she's a good actress or if I'm infatuated specifically with her beauty.

Matty was great. He brought personality and energy to the show, and I miss him. Matty and Adam's version of Filmspotting had an entertainment value that is sometimes missing from the latest version of the show. With Josh and Adam there is a greater level of expertise that occasionally results in giving the impression of two art critics speaking in some rarefied air that is kind of hard to reach.

The problem with my characterizations above is that they are not all-or-nothing scenarios. Matty had a strong knowledge of film and an expertise that certainly surpassed mine and I would guess many other lay people's, and Josh and Adam do have fun, and the show is often entertaining. They are just two very distinctly different tones, and I would be hard-pressed to say which I like better.

I like to compare it to drummers. In my mind Matty was Keith Moon. Josh is more like Charlie Watts, a safe pair of hands. I'm guessing this makes Sam, erm Ringo Starr, just happy to have the gig ;D

Haha! choose a drummer, any drummer ;D

Josh provides way more intellectual meat to chew on. Matty Rants with zero objectivity.  Matty might have been Keith Moon but Josh is Buddy Rich.

Josh is great, but I miss Matty.  I love his crazy opinions and his sometimes rabid approach to defending them.

It is funny, because in the previous incarnation of FS, I was usually Team Matty.
Now I find myself much more often Team Adam.

But it doesn't matter.  The important thing is the conversation, which has always been top-notch.

Not Adam or Josh's (or Matty or Sam's) survival?

Should there be a sudden death match to determine if we could only ever listen to one host ever again, which will it be?
