Essentially - a literal movie orgy
« on: July 23, 2015, 08:03:07 AM »
orgy
ˈɔːdʒi/
noun
1.
a wild party characterized by excessive drinking and indiscriminate sexual activity.
"he had a reputation for drunken orgies"
synonyms: wild party, debauch, carousal, carouse, revel, revelry, bacchanalia, bacchanal, saturnalia, Dionysiacs;

2.
historical
secret rites used in the worship of Bacchus, Dionysus, and other Greek and Roman deities, celebrated with dancing, drunkenness, and singing.
"Bacchic orgies"

I've been trying to avoid from creating this thread for quite some time. I wanted a little place where I could post about all my movie escapism, but it never felt appropriate doing so beyond the "Respond to the last movie you watched" thread. But recently, I've gotten a little tired of all these analyzing and "that movie went over my head" drivel, so I figured a marathon deprived of all those intellectual goodness - essentially a literal movie orgy full of debauchery and excess - would do some good for my tired soul. Essentially, this is a marathon full of "Oh my god, that one-liner's f***ing awesome!"

Without further ado...

LET'S PARTY!!!

No, it's just movies that feature Venetian blinds.

I should have known, how silly of me to think otherwise.
