Tech Question
« on: September 09, 2015, 02:12:17 PM »
Husband and I invested in a joint laptop (guess how that's working to work) and he is not allowing iTunes on it.  What else is there for podcast aggregation?  I have a sansa clip I'm going to listen to them on as I have seriously fallen out of love with my iPod.  I transferred my music to the clip using WMP.

The laptop (actually it's a Surface Pro) runs Windows 10.

Check out Pocketcasts. Pretty sure it has an online version, though I haven't tried it myself. Love the Android app, though.

We don't have Apple products.

I do have a phone, but I don't have data (because I'm old and set in my ways).

I have a Samsung tablet and a laptop.  I'll own about 10% of a Surface Pro soon. :)

I use and like Sony MediaGo. I have a Sony Walkman MP3 player, and the MediaGo software came with that, but I think you can connect other types of players to it and move stuff onto them. There is a podcast store with a bunch of stuff, especially the more popular podcasts, but you can also put a feed URL in it and it will subscribe.

I can't see Sansa Clip among the devices.  But, thanks!

If you create separate login profiles, can you install iTunes?  That way I don't think it would be there when he logs in.
