2015 Animated Feature Oscar Checklist
« on: November 05, 2015, 02:58:43 PM »
Curious to see how many of these people choose to watch over time. Up to the Oscar telecast and beyond. Some of these films I've never heard of, and they usually turn out to be big surprises in the future. For example, The Boy and the Beast is from Mamoru Hosoda (Wolf Children, Summer Wars).

I've seen none, but I have Marnie waiting for me at home, and want to see Shaun and Prophet.

I have Marnie at home as well. Inside Out is only I've seen.

I cannot believe I have only watched two. I should be all up on this list's business.

Inside Out
When Marnie Was There

Now I want to see The Boy and the Beast and I have been reminded of how sad I was to miss Shaun. Don't care about Home though.

I'm leaving it open to see how we all do over the next few months.

I've only seen Inside Out and Minions.

However, I'm usually catching up with the year's "must see" picks in the last month.  I know that The Prophet, Marnie, Shawn the Sheep, and some others are on my must see list before the end of the year.

Marnie is worth it.

I think Astérix et le Domaine des Dieux should definitely be on here. It is one of the best animated movies I have watched all year.

I think Astérix et le Domaine des Dieux should definitely be on here. It is one of the best animated movies I have watched all year.

It's the Oscars shortlist, so... deserve's got nothing to do with it.

Otherwise, I'd also mention The Little Prince and Adama, both are very good. Looks like I did anyway !

Only seen Inside Out in the list, so far.
