1SO you've done an incredible job here. Are the key works ranked according to forum preference ?

Had you not rated those 3, their scores would've been
PTA: 7.944

which would have placed them above the next 6 names. So one could argue their appearance this early is "because of Bondo's rating."

I'm not speaking to Bondo anymore.

Thank you. While I wish more people had participated, we still ended up with some interesting lists.

The Key Films are a combination of IMDB Ratings, TSPDT Director pages and Filmspotting Director Threads. I try to find a spread of films that cover a director's entire career (like with Ozu), but sometimes their key output is compressed in a small period of time (like Douglas Sirk).

Yeah... :-[

Sorry for dropping off like that at some point. In my defense though, I was getting to not being able to vote for anyone anymore.

It was a huge project, and I'm pleased with as many people participated as did.  1SO, of course, but in a lot of work, but so did everyone who voted for all the directors they knew.  As did Martin and the others who posted the many directors threads. It is one of the great Filmspotting accomplishments.

Um... wow, oldkid. Thanks. I always saw the original Ratings Project as one of the great Filmspotting accomplishments. This was a typical sequel.

More like Matrix: Reloaded. Not as much of a surprise as its predecessor, but not without some good qualities of its own.
