Amy felt like a really well-done 90-minute VH1 "Behind The Music", but after hearing Michael make an allegory to a "found footage" movie, I'd like to go back and see it with a fresh slate.
That was me... borrowing a phrase from Matt Singer.
I stand corrected. Sorry, Adam.
(Also, it's super-cool that the hosts of the show are frequent posters to the board)
I also don't want to turn this into a "my favorite movie didn't get posted..." reply, but I will (just for a moment). I was glad to see
Trainwreck show up in Josh's list. I think it's a wonderful film. But I was sad to see
Spy not crack any of the lists. It was a wonderful film that had, by far, the most laughs per minute in any film for me. Easily Paul Feig's best film since
Bridesmaids.
And, Adam or Josh, did either of you manage to catch up with
The Peanuts Movie? Unless something comes and blows my hair back, it's a film that will probably make my top 5 and easily my favorite animated movie of 2015, which is saying something considering Pixar released 2 movies this year. I found the film to be gentle and good-hearted and light. It truly captured the spirit of the comic strips I loved for so long.
