The Witch
Second. And...

Best Line - "Wouldst thou like to live deliciously?"

Having not seen the film yet, I don't know why this might be a spoiler, but that is a great line, even completely out of context.

Isn't it? Perhaps I've overplayed my hand with the spoiler, but it is a bit of a pivotal line. I wouldn't want to know it going in, looking for where it might pop up.

Oh, Belgica - I'm jealous. Have you seen any of the three films he made before The Broken Circle Breakdown? Wonder if I should try to dig them up.

I've seen no film other than Belgica from him, though I'm interested now. I was a bit conflicted about Belgica : it starts off great and then gets pretty predictable in its second half. I suppose part of it is inevitable in a rise and fall narrative, but it feels like he was a lot more interested in the rise than the fall, or at least much more creative in the way he went about representing it. Performances are good though, and those first 40 minutes or so makes it very much worth seeing.

Hail Caesar!

Best director (s)
Best screenplay (original)

Why don't we have a "best musical scene"?

Best Surprise - Because it was not at all what I was expecting, but thought it was pretty good all the same

Second. I wish we had a "Best Use of a Song" category because "I Think We're Alone Now" would win the heck out of that.

Best Shot
