There is one John Wayne performance I like less than this one, and you’re scheduled to watch it so I won’t name names. I blame Ford who could shape and play with the Wayne persona, but he had little idea how to actually direct Wayne to get what the script needs.

I’ve seen 35 John Ford films and 3 Godfathers is the bottom. It starts off and only gets worse. The final walk is the worst scene ever by Ford.

Hank Worden plays Deputy Curly, working for Ward Bond’s Marshall Buck.

Great cast... Wasted!

Made some Suggested Purchases to the Columbus Library system for a few of the films I couldn't find a resource for. Looks like they are adding Border River, Colorado Territory (which I may have to wait on and therefore watch out of order), Devil's Doorway and Escape from Fort Bravo.

And yet, they declined the suggestion for Two Rode Together, directed by John Ford and starring James Stewart. Seriously? They declined requests of mine in the past for something being out of print, but that's not the reason they gave for this one. This time they said "after reviewing the item, the library has decided to not add it to the collection."

What gives with that!?

My initial thought was that it had something to do with the Blu-Ray being out of print but you said they would tell you that. I like that film a lot and it looked really good in HD.

Didn't realize that. Looks like on Amazon they have it listed, but for a rich price. So my guess is that instead of saying its out of print they said they're deciding not to acquire (because the price is so high)
