I'm surprised that Kingsman: The Secret Service appeared on eight different ballots but received no votes for Best Surprise.

No nominations either for Straight Outta Compton, Jurassic World, Furious 7, Jupiter Ascending, or Me and Earl and the Dying Girl.

From FAQ:

Why are there no FYC mentions for the Overlooked Film category?

The nominees for Overlooked Film are not determined by direct vote. The category isn't a part of the nominations ballot. Rather, the nominees are chosen from among the films that received votes in all of the other categories but failed to earn any nominations.

From the makers of Kick-Ass and X-Men: First Class. What's surprising about it?

No nominations either for Straight Outta Compton, Jurassic World, Furious 7, Jupiter Ascending, or Me and Earl and the Dying Girl.

Not enough Mommy or Blind or Gett: The Trial of Viviane Amsalem

I wonder how Vikander and Theron make the cut for Best Actress but Daisy Ridley does not.

It's a good day to be Jennifer Jason Leigh.

The Tribe should've been a lock for Best Sound. Guessing not enough people have seen it.

I'm pretty cool with this group of nominees, even if my Steve Jobs bombing didn't really work.
