This is a lot of fun. So intense both underground and above. I'm really impressed with how well put together this is, it feels very real. The three actors are all great, Goodman is amazing.

Goodman is really good, man.

I didn't like the aliens, but didn't hate them either. Really liked the film as a whole though.

Did you not have any problems with the third act or conclusion?

Nope, I was expecting it and it was well executed.

I guess I was tipped that the finale gets crazy, and between that and the fact that I wasn't terribly invested in this movie either way, I had no problem with it. And in fact I had a lot of fun and have been recommending it to anyone who'll listen. Definitely a pleasant surprise.

The ending was disappointing in my opinion unless I missed some twist element.

Did her choosing one city over the other at the end mean anything?  My general take from the ending was yes, there are aliens and Goodman is also a monster.  Anything else to take from the ending?

Well it was choosing to fight. I guess.

Not completely on board with the third act, but agree with the general praise here, especially of John Goodman.

Loved the small scale, the small cast, and cramped environment. Definitely felt like a script/concept that started as a low-budget spec in all the best ways.

I didn't like the aliens, but didn't hate them either. Really liked the film as a whole though.

Agreed, I sort of felt like they revealed a little too much at the end there and would have preferred leaving things more up to our imagination or finished the film in a more ambiguous way.
