I have 45 left to go, including 4 in the top 10!!! I'd better get cracking!

I too am missing 4 in the top 10, but only have 34 overall missing. Time for some clearing up. :)

50/101 for me, missing 3 in the top 10 (all of them in the top 5 even).

Would love to vote in such a poll this year, looks like there's biannual trend to keep up.

I'm 86/101. Only missing City Lights in the Top 50.

The only blindspot I want to rectify in the near future is Rashomon.

And yeah, another top 100 would be nice, though it seems we are basically on the edge of having enough participants. Top 100 club is a nice, more personal alternative in the meantime anyway.

It might be the only thing to ever get me to watch Back to the future.

Why don't you want to watch it?

I mean, I understand making assumptions about a film and not taking the time to watch it (while acknowledging that you could be pleasantly surprised if and when you do watch it), but "Back To The Future" is an odd one to me.

It's a mixture of it just not feeling essential to me (1SO comment on it being #xxx in his list of Essentials in 3, 2, 1...) and me being aware of enough of the movie that it doesn't seem like something I would rate as high as the people who put it on this list. I think you need to have some history with it, having watched it in your childhood or being steeped into the whole BttF culture to love it as much as most people do. For me it's always been « that sorta weird time travel movie out there 80s Americans make much noise about ».

Agree.

Sorting the list, The New World is the lowest rated at 3.7
After that is A Serious Man, Tree of Life, Take Shelter and Punch-Drunk Love
94 Titles rate at least 4.0
Night and Fog is the least popular

If I look at the entire Top 100, I would have to say that the movies I like the less are

The New World - 5/10
A Serious Man - 6/10
Take Shelter - 7/10
Requiem for a Dream - 6/10
The Princess Bride - 6.5/10 (I might have rated it higher in my review)
Memento - 6/10

With approximate ratings. I recognize I must revisit A Serious Man though.

Huh? How is the lowest rated not the lowest ranked? Where is this 3.7 from?
