Damn you, corndog and Hermit (I thought I would get a streak going - this year's theme: "Mad Max?  Whatever") ... And 9 nominees got 0% of the vote - a statistical function of a dwindling electorate?

Thanks for all the stats, pix!

Total Voters
     34

That's the lowest turnout ever, breaking the previous record low set last year (40 voters), which in turn broke the record from the year before (50 voters).

Let's halt this trend next year!

Is that about the number of active forum members? Or are there some active members who don't submit ballots?

I did not submit a ballot. Looks like [a prominent member] and smirnoff didn't either.

Martin! We need you on the team. Not to mention smirnoff. These threads are sorely lacking in gifs.

So pleased with the results this year. Mad Max! Phoenix! Gett! The Assassin! World of Tomorrow! Creed!

Would have been nice to see some Tangerine and Carol love, but I'll take the Filmspots over any other awards any day.

Yes but an entire review containing only gifs. The ultimate noff-dream, thats what I'm waiting for. But it sounds a little screenshotty doesn't it? ;D Just moving screenshots. But what if a word popped up now and again. What if certain prominent members (I don't have one of those but I really like the phrase being applied to me) missed the word that popped up. That might be too screenshotty. Then what. Dogs kissing cats. Basically.

I've been very happy to be part of organizing the Filmspots for the past nine years, and I'm grateful that people still enjoy the process and appreciative the effort behind it.

And while this isn't a banter-free zone, I can be a bit sensitive about seeing hours of work overshadowed by general chatter, so I've moved said chatter to the appropriate thread.

I think I'd love how awkward it'd be, or how awkward it should be.

I've hardly seen a thing from 2015, but these results are exciting to look through.

Mad Max, Ex Machina, Spotlight, Creed, The Martian... I got a lot to catch up with, but it seems like it was a good year!
