The Americans! FINALLY
Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell! FINALLY

Overall, this may be one of the best Emmy fields ever. Some quibbles, but an outstanding selection of series and performers.

Oh yea, The Americans is that show I started watching but probably will never get back to watching because I'm the worst TV watcher.

I'm assuming the most recent season of Orange is the New Black will be eligible for next year, where it can win all the things.

The complete lack of love for The Leftovers is disappointing. "Lens" was the best thing on TV last year, and Carrie Coon and Regina King deserved to be recognized for their spectacular performances. Maybe they'll get some love in their last year. Ha. Ha. Ha.

At least Coon will get a shot on Fargo, which sound like the best thing ever.

Yeah. Third season was eligible this year.

I also just have minor quibbles.

But overall I'm very happy- the diversity in the comedy categories (I mean aside from Veep/Silicon Valley love which I'm also thankful for), Fargo, The People vs. O.J. Simpson, Mr. Robot, The Americans- great stuff.

After being the best thing on tv three years in a row it's obviously thrilling to see The Americans get some love, though I'm greedy and want to know what happened to Alison Wright's nomination.

I was also disappointed in the lack of nominations for The Leftovers and Show Me a Hero and snubbing possibly my favorite performance from last year, Aya Cash in You're the Worst

But it is cool to see Laurie Metcalf recognized for Horace and Pete (one of her three! nominations) and Louie Anderson for Baskets

After Kirsten Dunst got robbed at the Globes they better give her the Emmy.

I'm stoked to see Better Call Saul get some love. Even if they won't win.
