I watched the first Japanese live action movie. It's not very good.
I liked it. It bothered to give Kira some humanity that I could relate to, instead of some edgy emo Gary-Stu. The second one used to be my favorite, but then I rewatched it in later years and realized how dated it was. The pacing of that one was just bad.

Still, Kira and Tatsuya Fujiwara were the best things about those two movies. I love Tatsuya's acting. Some of his anime-adapted movies like Kaiji were only watchable because of his great performance.

Holy cinecast, that was good.

Awesome trailer

The only way that could be better is if it were 2 hours long. I'm so pumped. Maybe award worthy for McDormand?

Abuse of The Left Banke's song, though.

I laugh about people hate watching a TV show, but I've got no leg to stand on when I know I'm eventually going to watch Justice League.

Also, isn't watching five horrible horror movies in a row a bit the same thing?

The new Deadpool 2 teaser is fantastic!

I don't understand how WB can't make good movies. Just get the production teams from the DCAU to make them...

I've been saying that for like a decade. Dini/Timm have written some of the best DC stories ever. Make them co-write and one direct and I think you would have an excellent films. They did a great job with Mask of the Phantasm. As long as Snyder is DC's golden boy, I'm done watching their films. I thought it would be a cold day in hell before I preferred Marvel over DC. That day has long since passed at this point.

Does there really need to be this much crossover in every Marvel movie? I like Downey as Iron Man, but it's overkill at this point.
