Skyscraper with The Rock, looks like a modern version of Die Hard

Mission Impossible: Fallout, lots of less successful stunts, not in a bad way.

As far as I'm concerned Mission Impossible has gotten better with each installment. I'm very excited for the next one.

There used to be a joke about pitching movies that were variations of Die Hard — "Die Hard ... on a bus!" "Die Hard ... on a plane!" "Die Hard ... on a train!" "Die Hard ... in my pants!" — but I guess the joke became so meta and the world so bereft of ideas that "Die Hard ... in a skyscraper!" didn't register with anyone as just being ... Die Hard.

SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY looks about what I expect from a movie that had such difficult problems in production. Pretty disappointed that there's zero good jokes in it though. It feels like they drained all of the Lord/Miller spirit out of it.  :'(

Incredibles 2

The trailer (and I don't think this will apply to the film) downplays the superheroics for family comedy, and I am totally fine with that.

It looks like Incredibles 2. I'm going to see it, but it isn't super exciting yet.

Do you know the reason it took so long to do a sequel? It looks like Mr. Mom with pyrotechnics.

Speaking of heroics,

Finally, it looks like it will get released in March

The Mercy

I'm not sure how to feel about this. I didn't get the impression Donald Crowhurst was a hero in any way, but rather a misguided dreamer with a misguided ego. Colin Firth may be too noble a figure and actor to give the character an accurate representation. His and Rachel Weisz' stature will surely change the tone from the real story.
