I'm in. I like the idea of following boxofficemojo's seasonal divisions.
edit: Wow, last year's fall looked like this:
1. The Martian ($228,433,663)
2. Hotel Transylvania 2 ($169,700,110)
3. Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials ($81,697,192)
4. Goosebumps ($80,080,379)
5. The Intern ($75,764,672)
6. Bridge of Spies ($72,313,754)
7. The Visit ($65,206,105)
8. Black Mass ($62,575,678)
9. The Perfect Guy ($57,027,435)
10. Sicario ($46,889,293)
11. Everest (2015) ($43,482,270)
12. Brooklyn ($38,322,743)
13. Pan ($35,088,320)
14. Crimson Peak ($31,090,320)
15. The Last Witch Hunter ($27,367,660)
16. Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension ($18,300,124)
17. Steve Jobs ($17,766,658)
18. Room ($14,677,654)
This is going to be hard. I wonder how many of our lists would have included Pan?
I wonder how long after the end of fall (labor day weekend) it took for the top ten to solidify. Probably not until the end of year.
edit: It looks like the top ten actually solidified itself just in time for Thanksgiving weekend. It was that last full week of November that Goosebumps climbed past The Intern and The Mase Runner sequel climbed past Goosebumps.
