Shows you gave up on

Masters of Sex
Loved the first season, but dropped out only three episodes into the second season. Never looked back.

Justified
Season five was bad enough we dropped out halfway through and didn't come back even though people say season six was a return to form.

Mildred Pierce
Literally debated watching each episode since none of them quite grabbed me and none of them seemed to point toward an actual story. Got through four out of five and just didn't care enough to finish it off.

I stopped watching Hell On Wheels after season 3 of 4. Whichever season ended with a bear attack. Just got bored of it.

I'm a few episodes into The Walking Dead's latest season. Haven't watched it in months and not sure when or if I'll catch up. The show is just bad. Their idea of tension is a surprise zombie attack.

The Last Man On Earth. Stopped after season 2 episode 1 i think. One of the most unlikable characters I've seen on tv.

I know there's more but i can't think of them right now.

I think you're in the wrong thread, because this must be your list of greatest shows of the 21st Century.

Silicon Valley (I want to give it another shot, though)
The Walking Dead (made it to the beginning of Season 3)
The Wire (made it halfway through Season 3, I will rewatch it at some point)

I think I made it through like eight seasons of Grey's Anatomy at some point. Haven't returned to How to Get Away with Murder after the first season.

Also gave up on Dexter and Weeds after a season each.

Banshee
Bailed halfway through season 3 after a couple major female character deaths in short order. I get one was due to the actress getting a role on another show, but they still annoyed me and felt cheap.
