At this point, I don't know if I'm watching this show because I like the episodes, or because the first two episodes were so good and pulled me in and now I'm curious to see what's going to happen.

I felt this way all through Lost.

The pilot was a tough watch for me but episode 2 and beyond has pulled me in.

And that, friends, is why you hire Anthony Hopkins for your TV show.

Also Thandie Newton is killing it. She's been great all season and tonight she was amazing.

Agreed. This could be, currently, the best episode of the season. It just ratcheted things up and put the creepiness back at where it should be.

Which Hopkins scene did you mean ? And how do you know her name, is she well known ?

Anyone else not buy how Maeve took control o the situation with the two engineers ? I mean, they could have done half a dozen things to stop her, and why is that first guy answering her in the first place ?

I been watching it from the start, we're upto episode seven in the UK and I think it's got progressively better, as the series has gone on. And yes Thandie Newton has been killing it. That sequence in the sixth episode featuring her was fantastic.

I don't know which scene you are referring to with Anthony Hopkins, but I did find this on 'The Playlist' recently. Hope this helps.

I didn't have a particular scene in mind re:Hopkins, but both the demonstration scene where he does absolutely nothing and the final one were outstanding.

And I've been paying attention to Thandie Newton since M:I II, when she was the best part of that hunk of junk.

This is my issue too. They were literally holding in their hands ways to stop her. All they had to do was press a button.

Hadn't they tried that before and she didn't stop? I thought that was the problem there.

They didn't even try voice commands. Or changing her personality to coward when given the opportunity.
