She does not like the Beatles, yes :(

She didn't seem sad when I kicked her out of the house.  She rolled her eyes at me the third time.

I should find out what the series is about. It seems to have quite a following!

I have to agree that this is a smirnoff show.  Highly entertaining.

Oh, yes. Because it's legal to kick out a 10 year old. Lol

I'm sixteen now. Ten was when I stopped liking the Beatles.

That means SIX years of not liking the Beatles.

That's it, you're kicked out of the house.  Again.

EDIT: After we finish this marathon.

Episode 1.5: The King of Omashu

Oldkid: Well, I remembered this one.  Love, love this episode.

Ideathy: "My cabbages!"

Oldkid: Exactly.

DeathImpacto: Bumi.

Oldkid: I love Bumi (which means "earth" in Hindi).  He does dad jokes like no one else.  Probably because he's a great- great- great- great- great- great

DeathImpacto: Hey, he's just over a hundred.  That might be a bit excessive.

Oldkid: great- great grandfather.

Ideathy: Aw, shut your trap.

DeathImpacto: Ah, movie references inside of reviews.

Oldkid: Okay, so this was a hilarious episode.  Also it is an introduction to earthbending.

Ideathy: Terrible introduciton to earthbending.   But, I will say, out of all the elements, how they animate earthbending is the best.

Oldkid: I think the earthbending is great.  Very creative.  Just not as good as Toph will be later on.

Ideathy: Toph starts at Bumi's level, I think.

Oldkid: And then develops from there.  Her fights are fantastic, though.  And her humor is more... earthy.  Than Bumi's, who is just a punster.  And sarcastic.

DeathImpacto: Which is awesome.

Ideathy: I will be honest, I don't really get the point of this episode.

Mrs Oldkid: It's a chance to introduce Bumi.

Ideathy: But he doesn't show up again.

Mrs. Oldkid: Yes he does.  In the order of the white lotus.  He's an important character.  Also to show how Aang thinks outside the box and does it for the rest of the series.

Oldkid: Mad genius.

Ideathy: He already thought outside the box.

Oldkid: He's a very creative kid.  And you think of it, they come up with a creative, unique fight-- at least one-- every episode.  This is a great martial arts animated series.  Never boring with the action or the plot.

Ideathy: I feel the firebending does sometimes get boring, but the characters that are fighting are always intriguing.

DeathImpacto: They are trained to fight in large groups.  And there are rules you have to follow.

Mrs. Oldkid: The FireLord didn't.

Oldkid: He's the Fire Lord, duh.

DeathImpacto: And then there's Uncle.

Ideathy: His name is Iroh, you know.

Oldkid: There is no way I can type all this conversation.  It's just moving too fast.

ANYWAY....  so anything we want to say about THIS episode?

Ideathy: Apparently not.

Oldkid: No, we'd much rather talk about the ENTIRE SERIES ALL AT ONCE!

DeathImpacto: Everything I wanted to say is, "Bumi."  I'm good.

Ideathy: (giggles like a little girl)  My cabbages.

Oldkid: Okay, we're done.
