It's a TV movie. Are those allowed? pix?

Am I allowed to vote for Lady Gaga's Telephone music video?
I'll leave that up to god emperor pix.

Please add the missing entries from my top 5
I've made it so.

Can you add Poetry as an option?
As you wish. Also, watch Certified Copy. It's great.

I've been including tv movies  — like the Peanuts specials — though not tv episodes or mini-series, at least not yet. "Telephone" does have an IMDb entry, so I guess it's fair game? Definitely a gray area. But "Lemonade" has been FYC'd for the Filmspots, as I recall.

Okay, I added Telephone.

I'm still not sure about individual episodes of TV, but I'm willing to hear arguments for their inclusion.

It's not like when we were growing up. Back then TV Movies were bankrolled by the network. Now you have films that are put into production for theatrical release that end up on HBO or Netflix or go VOD the same time as a theatrical run. Temple Grandin was bankrolled by the company Ruby Films out of Great Britain. (They also financed Saving Mr. Banks.) It was picked up by Time Warner who decided to broadcast it on HBO. Does that mean it's not a film?

Technically, this year I have seen 5 better Movies, but as I've argued before, Sherlock is feature-length and very cinematic, more so than the Sherlock films of the 30s and 40s. The quality of the show's first 2 seasons is so high that it ranks higher than the mass majority of theatrical releases. I would also like to see five better movies than A Study in Pink every year, but it rarely happens.

Where are you going to rule on "The Abominable Bride", which was an episode of Sherlock that did play in theaters around the world this year?

Second.

Seriously though, I wish every year would produce 5 better movies than A Study in Pink too.
