Sandy, we should have a Robert Plant listening party.

You pick a day, time and album and I'll be there!

Please do "Raising Sand", the album he dd with Alison Krauss and produced by T-Bone Burnett. It's truly perfection.

Actually, that was the first one I had in mind.  Masterwork.

My brain keeps wondering when it will be time to pull the trigger on a Marvel Marathon. I'm most interested in re-watching Iron Man 2 and Thor: The Dark World because they're the runt of the litter. I'm least interested in re-watching Ant-Man and Iron Man 3 because my problems with them I don't see being diminished by a Marathon, though I don't understand why I'm the only person who doesn't think Michael Peña is funny. I always think he's funny.

Someday I might. I haven't seen:
The Incredible Hulk (2008)
Iron Man 2 (2010)
Thor (2011)
Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)
The Avengers (2012)
Iron Man 3 (2013
Thor: The Dark World (2013)
Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)
Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)
Ant-Man (2015)
Captain America: Civil War (2016)
Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)
Thor: Ragnarok (2017)

I would skip Spiderman though. I'm not watching another gd Spiderdork movie.

You haven't watched any of the best... :'(

I don't know what gd means, but what's wrong with being a dork?

1SO, you're stronger than me. I don't think I would ever have the strength to rewatch IM2 or The Dark World. And I also didn't think Michael Peña was funny.

God damn! :)

Being a dork is fine, I just don't like Spiderman as a character. Or Superman. Or any of those squeaky clean superheroes. I dont' know why. Maybe it's because they didn't pay a price to be the way they are. I got bit by a spider, boohoo, now I'm amazing and have awesome powers. It's probably the dumbest of all the origin stories, and it doesn't give him purpose in and of itself, it's just something that happens to him. And he's an annoying kid. When I was a kid I liked the 90's animated series.... now I'm like older than Peter Parker and find him annoying.

In the new one, they somehow succeed to give him no discernible character arc at all and yet it's still not half bad. It's not half good either, so it's just half.

I have considered it, but I have so many other things going on, it is not in my immediate future.

Boo hoo, woe is me, I know, but I am disappointed that the studio has decided to NOT screen Infinity War in Columbus. Cincinnati only. They did the same thing for Star Wars, which I was less disappointed about since I already had tickets to see it with friends anyway.

They did screen Black Panther though, so it's not the death of Disney in Columbus...yet. I guess I will just have to use my new MoviePass subscription to see it :D.
