I'm going to reveal the nominations not category-by-category, but rather film-by-film, going through every film that appeared on at least three ballots. I think it'll make for a more interesting/suspenseful presentation — and maybe generate more discussion throughout the day.

I'll go in order by the number of ballots each film appeared on, and then the strength of the votes on those ballots.

First off, though — the Short Film category was pretty much a total bust, so I'm removing the category from this year's awards. The voting, from 28 ballots, went as follows:

Film
     Votes
Let Forever Be
5
George Lucas in Love
4
All Is Full of Love
5
Torrance Rises
3
Desserts
2
Windowlicker
2
She and Her Cat
2
When the Day Breaks
2
The Dark Tower
2
The Curve
1
Persian Series
1
Totem
1
...Reel Five
1
Persian Series #2
1
The Greatest Song in the World
1
Outer Space
1
Guinness: Surfer
1
A Noite
1
The City of Chromatic Dissolution
1

As I've said elsewhere, I think that the next time we do a post-1960s year, we should probably replace Short Film with a category like Debut Feature.

I recognize some of my noms there. Not surprised!

However, I do wonder what poor soul deigned to put The Boondock Saints in any category.
