You don't like Jim Parsons in his career defining role? He's a wonderful actor in many things, but he was born to play Sheldon Cooper.

Edit: I should have phrased this differently, less accusatory. I love Jim Parsons in this role, and I think he's a wonderful part of TBBT.

I can credit him for really becoming that character. But my problem with him, and the entire show, is that I never laugh. And I don't really like any of the characters. Maybe it's the format, but I just find the dialogue annoyingly cutesy.

I've never seen a whole episode. Jim Parsons seems pretty funny in the bits I have seen.

I don't mind the show but it is a compromise show for me. It often is available on flights so I don't mind watching it then.  But Silicon Valley is usually preferred if it is available.  Also, my wife loves this show as well as 2 Broke Girls.  I really really hate the later and wish she didn't like it. So I prefer if she going to casually just have something playing that it be TBBT.

I watched the first episode of 2 Broke Girls. I feel your pain.
