I got a kettle. It whistles. Pretty pleased with it.

I also got Codenames for Christmas, and I played it with friends the other night. We played for four hours straight and never got bored. It seems almost perfectly crafted for infinite replayability, and it changes with every group. Really fun and clever, just the right degree of stress and fun as both a giver and a guesser.

I bought Codenames last January. We enjoyed it but we only got around to playing it once when we bought it until this week when we played 3+ hours straight of it. The game is hilarious when you're playing with older people who completely forget the no emotions rule every turn. It's pretty much a perfect game.

I really want to play Codenames.

I got:

A box grater (much needed!)
"Our Family Table" by Julie Goodwin, winner of Masterchef Australia season 1 (so far I've made her chicken parmesan and honey roasted carrots, both very good)
Himbox Bluetooth car adapter (very cool! no more plugging in my phone, just start up the car and push a button!)

All these board games sound so good! I played a lot of a game called Privateer. I really enjoyed it.
