Just 1 and 2. I found that after the Waynes Brothers stopped being involved there was a huge drop off. #3 was unremarkable, and then I don't think I bothered seeing any more after that. Have you seen any of them?

I watched some as a kid. Don't remember where I stopped, but even child me noticed the drop in quality. Or maybe I was just getting older and less daft.

2016 was dry and I discovered nothing to speak of, really. I nevertheless would like to bring The Sorcerer (William Friedkin, 1977) to the table!
I added it to the list.

If you have not seen it before, try and catch it on the big screen. A great film (I think it is better than Wages of Fear).

I think most of what I watched last year was new releases and rewatching things I've seen a hundred times.

1. To Kill a Mockingbird
2. Frances Ha
3. Vampire's Kiss
4. Eraserhead

20. Union Depot (1932)
I never wrote about this pre-code Discovery but it’s a wonderful ensemble crime film starring Douglas Fairbanks Jr., Joan Blondell, Alan Hale and Frank McHugh.

Hear hear!
