July

Do you have a top five or top ten for the month?

I think I'd love how awkward it'd be, or how awkward it should be.

Nah. It's such a random mish-mash of TCM oldies, arthouse canon catch-up, and recent releases that a "top ten" would be hopelessly arbitrary.

I will say, however, that La Promesse and Le Silence de la Mer knocked my socks off.

Well, that's already almost half a Top 5. Go from there, don't mind the arbitrariness. The pure list is a bit unwieldy, especially since you watch a lot. That's about 100 films for July?

Yay, Lady Macbeth! Would like to see a review if you've got one in you. That movie has been getting no love in here.
