I’m struggling to finish Revisions as we speak. Making a Murderer remains, by far, the best thing Netflix has been able to slap its brand on (besides those original red envelopes).

I'm a big fan of The Haunting of Hill House, Russian Doll, and I'm super pumped to get to When They See Us when I have the mental energy for it. They've got a good movie or two, especially in the horror genre. But the majority of it is kinda to very shitty.

Netflix has been pretty good for docs and standup comedy. And I've liked a number of their shows (Nailed It, OITNB, Black Mirror, Somebody Feed Phil). True, most of their original content is of zero interest to me, but I'm glad they're in the game.

Having said that, I'm 4/6 of the way through Wild Wild Country and it's not that good as a documentary. It's very rambly and bloated. At this point I'm planning to finish it, but only because I've already invested so much time.

Terrace House.. It’s like MTV;S Real World but only in Japan and as if nothing actually ever got Real

I like how the one show stars Debbie Ryan, and I think one of the Ryan Murphy things will feature 2018's best actress Zoey Deutch. Also enjoyed 'Brina and really recommend On My Block, but I don't think anyone else aside from FLY will watch that show.

Their shows are definitely better than their movies.

I've been watching Terrace House with my partner without shame.

I really appreciated the following original Netflix content:
Sense8 (1st season)
Jessica Jones (1st season)
Atypical
Master of None
The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (Two seasons)
Russian Doll
Making a Murderer

Not a great percentage, but perhaps I’ve watched  a few more times that.   Still, I’m glad this stuff is out there, as well as some of the items they’ve co-produced.

On the other hand, it makes me wonder whether it is worth me continuing to pay for the service.
