The two know each other through Amy Seimetz who produced Jenkins' Medicine for Melancholy and acted in Carruth's Upstream Color. Not sure what his specific contribution to Moonlight was.

The 40th Göteborg Film Festival will be held 27th January - 6th February.

At the moment I have tickets for 12 films.

Reenactments in documentaries. Good or bad? I don't think i like them very much. I'm watching a Hiroshima documentary on Netflix at the moment and the reenactments are standing out too much. It's super HD footage opposite old archival footage.

One of Us. One of Us.

Bibi Andersson is the only crossover between you, Corndog and I in the "highest rated actors", I think. And we all have the 50s and the 60s among our three highest-rated decades, which is probably a result of being selective when watching older films I suppose.

I can't think of many examples, but one good one I would say is Beyond the Void.

The one that came to my mind is Man On Wire.
