That quote is so confusing, not because I disagree with what he's saying but because I find it hard to believe there are people worth responding to who are mad that Jordan Peele doesn't want to tell white stories. Who are these people?
Also I didn't know Burton or Allen said those things, though upon reflection neither sounds particularly surprising. I can't picture what a meaningful role for a black role in a Woody Allen film would look like, but a non-white person could absolutely fit in Burton's aesthetic.
