This soundtrack is important to my family, we loves it so, and for my wife and I (and my son?) it is our favorite Disney soundtrack. The chant rehearses the themes of guilt and absolution throughout the entire film, so it isn't only the songs we love in this soundtrack. Personally, the only song I would be glad to drop out is A Guy Like You, not because it's a bad song (puns are never bad), but it really runs right up against the tone of the rest of the film.
The rest of the songs are amazing, from Bells of Notre Dame, which is reminiscent of the intro song to BatB. Clopin in Topsy Turvy and the Court of Miracles is both fun and menacing, and works so well for the unfolding story. Out There is a great hero "I want" song, among the best. But I have to give it to Hellfire, which is as dark and horrible of a song as we have in the Disney canon, alongside of Be Prepared... I mark Be Prepared down a notch just because of the necessity to have some expository dialogue in the middle. I think the combination of Hellfire and In Heaven's Light is excellent, but Heaven's Light is another "I want" song, and not as good as Out There, and it drags the dark power of Hellfire down, I think.
Gregorian chant FTW!
