Categories Affected by the Weighting of Votes
In the year that I finally watch all the nominees, zero categories were affected by the weighting of votes.

Lame. But I'm not really upset with any of the wins. Maybe La La Land over Moonlight for Score

Oh come on. It can't win everything !

Best Scene (Dramatic)
"Drive It Like You Stole It" Video Shoot, Sing Street — 37.0%
Final Sequence, La La Land — 24.4%
Could We Have Lunch Sometime?, Manchester by the Sea — 13.9%
Entering the Ship, Arrival — 12.8%
The Library, The Handmaiden — 11.9%

As much as we do our best to do the work, this category is missing the Food Bank scene from I, Daniel Blake, which has shaken me like no other scene this decade.

It isn’t missing it because I, Daniel Blake is a 2018 film as Filmspots go. It had almost no pre-2018 release.

And that Sing Street scene holds up. Watched the film again a month ago and teared up at how good that scene was. :)

I still rewatch it on occasion. It's the bullocks. Actually, all five of those scenes are pretty great, now that I've caught up with them all.

And I, Daniel Blake deserves no place anywhere near the Filmspots.
