Those narrow The Handmaiden losses really annoy me while its wins delight me. Ahhhh, awards.

I like the fun facts too pix. Keep them coming!

How much non-original music is there in Sing Street really?

There is actually quite a bit, though I fess to ignoring the technical category definitions and going with lyrical vs. instrumental rather than original vs. non-original in differentiating score vs. soundtrack.

Great work, Pixote!

I almost feel like we need a third "best scene: musical" category, because neither the one in Sing Street or La La Land are particularly what I think of as "dramatic," (while they're both great).

Categories Affected by the Weighting of Votes
In the year that I finally watch all the nominees, zero categories were affected by the weighting of votes.

Lame. But I'm not really upset with any of the wins. Maybe La La Land over Moonlight for Score
