Since MSU is one of the few schools who haven't rejected my application yet, I put them as my overall winner. I'm hoping this will work.

I was just about to give you props for this. Well done, sir!

As for me, I retain my usual spot in all filmspotting contests by being in the middle-bottom. But I take solace that all of the teams who none of the teams I picked wrong were in my sweet 16, so I can still be ok by Monday.

Exactly. You can't win the pool in round 1, but you can certainly lose it. So long as you don't lose it you're in just as good as shape as anyone else.

Apologies to Bearcat fans, but I'll be rooting for Kansas St tonight just because the 11-seeds are almost the only interesting teams in the bracket this year, and a sweep by them would be cool.
