Really wish I made it out to that Japandroids show. Was the Weezer one part of a bigger thing or was it just a strangely short set? I've not seen them, so I don't know how their shows are, but that setlist seems lean, even with great songs on there. U2 I'd have liked to have seen as well, and would have loved to get to LCD (especially in NY, hearing "NYILYBYBMD"). Saw The National at Made in America a few years ago, and didn't care for them, but I don't like them in general, I do consistently hear good things about their live shows, probs just not for me.

The Weezer show was a charity thing for Radio 104.5's Movember campaign. Was all acoustic and a nice tight little set + that Pixies cover which was awesome. I'm a huge National fan and Verizon Hall isn't exactly a venue that see's many rock shows, especially ones where the lead singer bounds out thru the crowd and I was 2nd row so it was a great experience. So many coked up Brooklyn hipsters at LCD!

Actually saw LCD (on the second night at The Fillmore) and Japandroids twice (in Santa Ana about 3 weeks after the Philly show). But decided to only list 1 per band.
