I generally don't look far ahead on what is coming out because it's like trying to drink out of a fire hose, but of the trailers showing right now I'm probably most excited about Emma. and In The Heights. Mulan looks really cool too.

I'm very excited about Beanpole and Incitement coming out over here this Friday!

Wondering about The Invisible Man.

Apprehensive about Emma. The trailer looks great, but it's a costume drama based on a Jane Austen novel, and I've always struggled with Jane Austen. I just can't relate to any of it. I'll probably still see it at some point, though, because I like some of the actors and the bright and beaming look is kinda cool.

Seberg, I'll stream at some point.

I thought The Invisible Man looked good but worry just due to how much the trailer reveals.  Same for Vivarium

More than any other title, I'm extremely curious to know why Steven Spielberg has been so passionate about remaking West Side Story. I'm figuring once I see the first trailer I'll get a sense if he has a new spin on the material or if he just really wanted to make a musical before his career was over. I also keep thinking his older sensibilities and general longevity are going to lead to lesser work (The BFG), but then he comes out with Ready Player One, which is 80s cutting-edge Spielberg filtered through 2000s Minority Report.

Agreed... I have no idea why anyone would want to remake West Side Story (which I love to be clear), least of all Spielberg.  So... maybe he has a good reason ? Hopefully ?

I'm fascinated by it. It's particularly interesting with In the Heights coming soon and looking pretty cool and kinda similar in milieu. I've long since stopped doubting Spielberg, though. His movies are rarely fully bad.
