Top Disney Songs
« on: April 01, 2017, 01:53:34 AM »
My family and I saw a list of ranked Disney songs.  It was wrong.  So wrong.  So we created our own.  The only limitation is that it had to be inside a Disney film (credit sequences are okay).

My list is thus:

1. Everybody Wants to Be a Cat (Aristocats)
2. Iíll Try (Return to Neverland)
3. Circle of Life (The Lion King)
4. When Somebody Loved Me (Toy Story 2)
5. Hellfire (Hunchback of Notre Dame)
6. Feed the Birds (Mary Poppins)
7. I Wonít Say Iím in Love (Hercules)
8. Baby Mine (Dumbo)
9. The Lordís Been Good to Me (Johnny Appleseed)
10. The Rain, Rain, Rain Came Down, Down, Down (Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day)

In a bit the Disney Song Deathmatch will come to a close and we'll be able to give this question a definite answer.

While I consider, here are some unusual choices:

Bella Notte (Lady and the Tramp)
Goodbye So Soon (The Great Mouse Detective)
How You Know (Enchanted)
The Hula Song (The Lion King)
Nowhere in Particular (The Legend of Mr. Toad)
Real Gone (Cars)
Song of the Roustabouts (Dumbo)
The Unbirthday Song (Alice in Wonderland)
Welcome (Brother Bear)
What Time is It? (High School Musical)
Woody's Roundup (Toy Story 2)
Yodel-Adle-Eedle-Idle-Oo (Home on the Range)

Honorbale Mention: Yo-Ho, A Pirates Life For Me (Sung by Jack Sparrow and Elizabeth Swan in Curse of the Black Pearl)

An excellent alternative list.  Unbirthday is catchy, but not one of the greats, I think.  But the Hula Song and What Time Is It? are inspired choices.
