I just noticed you said you excluded any post-Waters stuff, which is a shame if only because of High Hopes.

Part of it is I'm personally not a fan of post-Waters Floyd (although I did see them twice). I bailed after Momentary Lapse.

How would ties be handled by the way ?

Higher seed, but I will wait as long as possible for a tiebreaker vote.

I'm unfamiliar with most of their work, so have to listen to each song and go by initial reaction. If you do decide to keep it going, I'll try and vote within a few days, but I may be too slow for this. Either way, I'm enjoying the discussions

I see the post-waters stuff as just another phase, one that I personally love, even if it doesn't reach the highs of their 70s work.  And the latter stuff is better for determining song-by-song (except their last album, which is an odd duck, anyway).   Even as The Final Cut I think of as a mostly Roger Waters solo, even so Momentary Lapse is a mostly David Gilmour solo.  The Division Bell is fantastic, with some missteps.  These I would consider to be the best of that period:

Well, the brackets are already seeded and that was a big undertaking, so... sorry. And it worked out very nicely to 128 songs, I only had to throw in one oddball (a rare group recording of Syd's "Vegetable Man") to even things out. Maybe someone can do a separate tournament of the post-Waters stuff.

I'll leave this batch running a little longer. Would love to have Sandy's participation.

I think a mod needs to do that.

Certainly not trying to lessen your work.  Just another reason to keep this going.

I'd participate in this if my Floyd knowledge wasn't so spotty. Maybe as the bracket narrows down I'll be able to participate.
