Fellini Satyricon (Fellini, 1969) - Empire (Warhol, 1964)

I had the same problem. Voted for Empire because it certainly won't go far while Fellini's name might earn a few votes.

And so we cancelled each other out with our shared loathing.

My "red" covers a pretty broad range. Believe it or not, my score for Satyricon is 60. Right at the border of tolerability.

I've seen six, but no match to vote for.    I'll get there, eventually.

Here is what Martin did. I agree with the logic of his opening paragraph and followed soon after with my computer open to his review so I could follow along.

Some one had it up on YouTube a few years ago and I downloaded it. Warhols intent probably wasn't that it be watched in 5 minute intervals on a laptop but who can say really.

Strangers, harakiri, titicut, empire, Dog Star, loneliness, a woman is a woman, branded and diaries for me.

Only 13 left on TSPDT 1000 for me. Saragossa and L'amour fou among them...haven't found the latter yet

One of my favorite reviews of all time, that one by Martin.  I loved reading it again.
