2002: Anyone but Willem Dafoe as the Green Goblin in Spider-Man and Charlton Heston as himself in Bowling for Columbine. Christopher Lee has two chances, as Count Dooko (!) in Attack of the Clones and Saruman in The Two Towers, but nah. I'm not a fan of Brad Dourif as Wormtongue in The Two Towers either. Staying negative, I couldn't appreciate Daniel Day-Lewis as Bill the Butcher in Gangs of New York because that movie was too much of a mess. I need to revist City of God, so I can't speak to Leandro Firmino as Li'l Zé.
So I'm not sure where that leaves me. Henry Kissinger in The Trials of Henry Kissinger? I guess I'll go with Geraldine McEwan as Sister Bridget in The Magdalene Sisters, even though I have the haziest of memories. Wait, scratch that. Brian Cox as Robert McKee in Adaptation..
