Wonder what people think about War for the Planet of the Apes' Colonel?

Miscast. Should've been someone more imposing, like Tom Hardy. Combined with the writing, the character is more pathetic than villainous. Like if Vulture was played by Paul Dano.

I thought Harrelson did a good job. I don't want a villain who's all threat and steel. The Colonel is not a psychopath out to slaughter everyone, he's a conflicted character that has turned to fanaticism and is capable of ambiguity. The level of pathos felt appropriate.

Robin Williams in One Hour Photo is worth a mention.
