I am pretty sure I know who the first two places are going to, I am more curious to see if there is a third Terminator movie that is generally considered not terrible.

1,2 and 5. Yes I actually like Genisys. 3 and 4 were disappointments, both had there good moments, but just did not work as a whole.

1. Terminator 2: Judgment Day
2. The Terminator

3. Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines

Why anyone would bother after #3 is a mystery.

The TV series is very much ahead of anything else, but the first two films do have their merits.

The Sarah Connor Chronicles
The Terminator
Judgement Day
Rise of the Machines
Genisys
Salvation

I enjoyed the first season a lot and never got to the second one. Felt a lot more grounded and emotionally involved than any of the Terminator films.

The second season is even better. The entire series (both seasons) is probably my most rewatched TV show aside from Firefly.

Rise of the Machines, viewed on its own terms, is underrated. It helps that it ends well.
