1. Kaurismaki's trilogy: Shadows in Paradise, Ariel, The Match Factory Girl
2. Seidl's trilogy: Paradise: Love, Paradise; Faith, Paradise: Hope
3. Ray's Calcutta trilogy
4. Ozu's Noriko trilogy
5. Kieslowski's trilogy

Transformers? Oh, that's more than three films.

I would love it if someone found a reason why some combination of those could be considered a trilogy. But then. does anyone like them enough to actually list them?
The first 3 would definitely be considered a trilogy. They star LaBeouf and follow an arc (as much as these films do). The fourth doesn't feel particularly connected to the others besides the obvious. Quality is a different matter.
